OpenWorks builds smart and scalable web and mobile-ready applications for organizations and businesses focused on education and educational services.
We believe in:
Collaboration and Teamwork
We get to know you and your organization's goals. Together we'll create a comprehensive and efficient project plan to meet your budget and needs. We'll build something extraordinary together and have some great fun along the way.
Whenever possible we build, use and contribute to Open Source software. This provides quality, flexibility, affordabilty, and the opportunity to collaborate with vibrant communities.
We believe that everyone deserves a fair and equal opportunity to learn. We're proud to collaborate with clients providing programs and services that aim to improve quality of life for students of any age within formal or informal educational settings. We're also proud lifelong learners. Whether it be experimenting with technology, learning to play an instrument or speaking another language, we challenge ourselves to learn something new every day.
Application Design & Development
We deliver dynamic, data-intensive, modern web applications and API services. We build custom applications from scratch, work with your code base, and build customized Wordpress and Drupal sites.
Put your data to work. We provide services, tools and software to collect, search and analyze data. This could include simple or custom app analytics, content analysis, predictive analytics, and recommendation engines.
We specialize in Open Badges, an open source specification to recognize and verify learning wherever it happens. Members of our team have been building Open Badges and digital credentialing software and have contributed to the specification since its inception. We can integrate badges into your system, build badging applications, guide your team, and provide training on the most effective implementation.
